How do I find accommodation?
Nexus can help you find accommodation in your destination country. We collaborate with trusted accommodation partners, assisting you in securing options like homestays or student apartments. Once you've made your decision, we can also guide you through the application process.
Who will receive me upon arrival?
Arrival support availability depends on your destination. If we have an onshore team in your destination country, we can help arrange an airport pick-up and guidance upon landing. Many universities can also arrange airport transfers or pick-up. Reach out during planning for details to ensure a smooth start to your study abroad journey. How do I find transport?
We'll provide you with a city guide before your departure. Please review it for guidance on finding bus and train routes, and explore other public transport options at your destination. If an onshore counsellor is available, feel free to reach out to them for further assistance with your transportation needs.
Will I find local cuisine at the destination?
Most destinations these days offer a variety of multi-cuisine options. While having access to your local food is important, we encourage you to use the opportunity of studying abroad to explore new cuisines and embrace the local culture. Read our city guide for more information.
What about groceries?
These days many large supermarkets have dedicated international sections. Additionally, specialised Asian, Indian, and Middle Eastern grocery stores can also be found in the destination countries. For more details, refer to our city guides or contact an onshore counsellor if available.
